The Fashion Journal Magazine is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sales person with the confidence, passion and hunger necessary to help us build a leading advertising sales team.
TFJ is a quarterly fashion publication dedicated to showcasing emerging designers in the realm of fashion, art, photography, beauty, accessories, etc., this New York-based publication thrives on the relationships within the design community and the broad scope of its followers. TFJ is currently distributed in Australia, Boston, NY, Chicago, LA, London, the Netherlands, Paris and Thailand.
You will need the following:
• Experience in successful advertising sales for at least one magazine.
• The ability and facilities to work independently from home and travel as required.
• Initiative and self-motivation.
• Imagination, creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
• A good understand of our magazine advertising sales works, and who to approach to have the best impact.
Benefits:
• Decide your own hours to some extent, so may be able to fit around other commitments.
• Work from home
• Earn 20% commission, paid upon client payment being received. We will also pay all reasonable expenses for those who are successful in making sales.
• After your first 3 month probation period, you will be paid a monthly retainer. Providing that you meet the required quota with in your probation period.
Job requirements:
• Identifying potential advertisers, making contact with them and encouraging them to advertise with Filament.
• Keeping good records of who you have contacted, when and what the outcome was.
